Securing in Case of Theft
The distributor of the WORX PROFESSIONAL brand has prepared for satisfied customers one more unique service, solving a possible problem related to the theft of the WORX PROFESSIONAL product. This service will secure for you the minimising of the costs related to the replacement of stolen WORX PROFESSIONAL products.
Theft means acquisition of the object with the intention to use it as an own object, when the perpetrator demonstrably overcame obstacles or measures protecting the object against theft.
The stolen WORX PROFESSIONAL product will be replaced by the distributor with a product of the same or similar type or model upon meeting the following conditions.
1. The service is provided to customers, who register for the “WARRANTY PROGRAMME” service within 14 calendar days from the product purchase at the latest and fulfil the conditions of this service.
2. The WORX PROFESSIONAL product was stolen within five years from the date of purchase stated in the warranty card and the document of purchase.
3. The customer will submit the original of the warranty card and the document of purchase (e.g. an invoice, bill of sale, etc.).
4. The customer will submit the original of the decision of the Czech Republic Police about the theft, from which it is clear that the perpetrator of the theft overcame obstacles, by which the customer properly secured the WORX PROFESSIONAL products against theft and that the Czech Republic Police deems the theft perpetrator to be unknown.
5. The WORX PROFESSIONAL product was not stolen from cars, mobile workshops or containers.
6. The customer is identified by a valid identity document, possibly other documents entitling the person in question to act in the subject on behalf of other legal entities.
7. When calculating the amount of the replacement, the price stated in the original of the document of sale and limited by the maximum price stated for the WORX PROFESSIONAL product in question in the currently valid product catalogue of the distributor is used.
8. The customer will pay to the distributor a fixed amount of CZK 1,000.00 for every stolen WORX PROFESSIONAL product and the financial amount calculated according to the following table.
9. The amount calculated according to point 8 is an advantageous selling price only and solely in the case of an advantageous purchase of the WORX PROFESSIONAL product within the scope of the “SECURING IN CASE OF THEFT” service provided by the distributor.
10. It is possible to apply the replacement for the stolen WORX PROFESSIONAL product only when the replacement is not resolved or paid from any other similar service or insurance.
